Metal Mama

Metal, meet motherhood; motherhood meet metal. This is where my two loves meet & become one world.

27 weeks 2 days.

20 July 2010

I can't believe it. Only 89 more days to go. I have a third ultrasound on the 28th. We are really hoping that we'll get the money shot. (LOL Money Shott, great band in the Rutland area, apparently I don't remember the site ulr off the top of my head, but I will definitely update with it.)

Lately I have been feeling a lot better. Still nauseous and difficult to eat but I went from being sick up to 14 times a day to sick once a week. I am kinda excited to step on the scale at my next appt. I've slowly been able to eat a little more often, and I feel like I am finally starting to look pregnant so I know I must have gained more than 2 pounds. It doesn't really matter though, in this case gaining is gaining.

Erik has been one fabulous little boy! He amazes me all the time. When we talk on the phone at night he carries on great conversation about his day and the things he has done and what he liked doing. On the weekends that he is here Rich and I have been taking him in Sunapee swimming. Erik doesn't actually know how to swim yet, but he tries. He loves kicking his feet, and splashing and floating on his belly and moving along by touching the bottom with his hands. This past weekend the three of us must have sat and played in the sand for atleast an hour. We were build, and let me tell you, Erik is quite the "builder" (he loves Bob the Builder). It was so nice. It was so relaxing to just sit on a warm beach on a beautiful Sunday afternoon and be creative in the warm sand with my family. It was definitely a day of perfection. Erik was an angel and had a great time. He was even good when it was time to leave. I am so proud of my little man!
